This application is for citizens interested in volunteering to serve as a Director on the Branson Hills Community Improvement District (CID) Board and is due to the City Clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. on April 17, 2026.

“…"Owner", for real property, the individual or individuals or entity or entities who own a fee interest in real property that is located within the district or their legally authorized representative; for business organizations and other entities, the owner shall be deemed to be the individual which is legally authorized to represent the entity in regard to the district…” RSMo 67.1401(11)
“…qualifications of members to the district’s board of directors shall be in accordance with this section… (a) Be at least eighteen years of age... (b) Be either: a. An owner, as defined in section 67.1401, of real property or of a business operating within the district; or b. A registered voter residing within the district…” - RSMo. 67.1451

The Board of Directors shall have and is vested with all powers and authorities granted by Section 67.1401 through 67.1571, RSMo…to supervise, control, direct and manage the property, affairs and activities of the District, to determine the policies of the District, to do or cause to be done any and all lawful things for and on behalf of the District, to exercise or cause to be exercised any or all of its powers, privileges or franchises, and to seek the effectuation of its objects and purposes.

Appointee may be removed from a board, commission, committee and council for any reason. “Appointee removal shall be in the same manner and vote requirement as the manner and vote requirement for appointment.” – Branson Municipal Code Sec. 2-201
