Community Partners

Community Service

You may do your assigned Community Service at any 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization of your choosing. You may not be compensated for your service in any way. The City Prosecutor's Office does not recommend any particular location or charity, but qualifying organizations would typically include:

  • Food Bank/Food Pantry
  • Churches
  • Animal Shelter/Rescues
  • Recycling Centers

To see if an organization qualifies as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, visit the IRS website Tax Exempt Organization Search tool at https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/

Substance Abuse Resources

The Branson Prosecutor's Office encourages anyone experiencing substance abuse issues to seek help. There are many community partners that can assist with this, such as Burrell Health, the Brooks Wellness Center, and state SATOP programs. Both organizations offer a wide variety of other services as well.
