New Mayor, Aldermen to take Office Tuesday

Branson voters elected a new Mayor and a new alderman who will be sworn in at the next Board of Aldermen meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Edd Akers will replace two-term Mayor, Karen Best, and Larry Milton was elected to a two-year term as Ward 2 Alderman, replacing Cris Bohinc who did not run for re-election.

Akers and Milton will join incumbent Aldermen, Bob Simmons, Kevin McConnell, and Brian Clonts in an official swearing-in ceremony during the regular board meeting at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Current Mayor, Karen Best, and outgoing Alderwoman, Cris Bohinc will also be recognized for their service and dedication to the City.
