Club Smack Volleyball Tournament

Club Smack is a local USA Junior Olympic Volleyball Club for girls in Stone and Taney Counties. The March 1 tournament will feature the following divisions:  11, 12, 13, 15 & 17.  Interested teams may go to www.smackvolleyball.com for additional tournament information.


Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee is coming to Branson.  Join us for these first and hopefully annual events scheduled for the spring and fall of 2008.  Club and open teams are welcome.  Please call the Park’s office for more information.


Pepsi-Major League Baseball Pitch Hit & Run Contest 

This nationally sponsored event by Pepsi and Major League Baseball, and hosted locally by the Branson Parks & Recreation Department on April 19.  This skills challenge is designed for boys and girls to see how well they can pitch to a target, hit for distance and accuracy, and run for time.  The winners are eligible to advance to a sectional competition and then the state finals at a Major League stadium and the national finals at the All Star Game.  Birth certificate is required for age verification.  Call the Park's Department to register.


USSSA Baseball & Softball Tournaments

Another summer of action filled youth baseball and softball tournaments for boys and girls for team’s ages 9-18 will be held in Branson.  Teams may register at www.bransonsportsinc.com.  Top teams from across the region and state will participate in these competitive tournaments. 


USSSA Baseball State Tournament Branson will once again be hosting the USSSA Boy’s U10 AA State Baseball Tournament June 19-22.  Teams from across the state will participate in these competitive tournaments. Teams may register at www.bransonsportsinc.com


USSSA Baseball World Series

Branson has been awarded the 2008 United States Specialty Sports Association National Division II boys age 11 and under World Series baseball championship July 13-20 for the 3rd  straight year!!!.  Over 40 teams from across the county will converge on the Branson RecPlex for a week of exciting baseball.


USSSA Adult E Class State Tournament

The Branson Parks & Recreation Department will host a Qualifier tournament on May 17 as well as the USSSA Missouri E Class Regional State tournament on Sat, July 26. This is the sixth consecutive year that Branson has been awarded this tournament.  Teams may to www.usssa.com to register.


Tri-Lakes Youth Basketball Tournament

Six summer tournaments are offered for your school’s varsity, junior varsity or middle school boys and girl’s basketball teams.  Your team will have the opportunity for game experience and  to keep in shape during the summer months.  Teams may go to www.trilakesshootout.com to register.


Springfield Cardinal Youth Baseball Clinic

This Free camp will be conducted by current coaches and players from the Springfield Cardinals Double A baseball club.  Instruction on fundamentals such as hitting, pitching and fielding will be offered.  Cardinal mascot, Louie, will be making an appearance and make a great photo opportunity.  This camp is a CAN’T MISS opportunity!!! Call the Park’s Dept for more information.


Flag Football

Welcome to the fastest format for flag football in the area!  See if you can successfully run the spread offense on a shorter field in this 4 on 4 format.  There are both a men’s and high school boys tournaments offered this year.  Contact the Parks and Recreation office at (417)335-2368 to register your team.  Space is limited!


Branson Waves Invitational Swim Meet

The Branson RecPlex is the destination for the annual Branson Waves Invitational Swim meet.  Over 300 swimmers from Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas are expected to compete as part of this Tri-State Swim Conference event. 


Mid-America Youth Basketball Tournament

The 4th Annual MAYB Branson Shoot-Out on June 20-22 will highlight top teams age’s 4th–12th grade from the Midwest, including several local competitive basketball teams.  Teams may go to www.mayb.com  to register.   In 2007, 51 teams competed in this tournament and there is limited space so sign up early!     


AAU Girls 11U Division 1 National Basketball Tournament

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) has selected Branson to host the 2008 National Division I Girl’s age 11 and under basketball championship.  Approximately 80 teams will converge on Branson during this event.  Branson beat out much larger cities vying for this tournament.  Other destinations hosting National AAU girls basketball championships in 2008 include: Orlando - Disney; Rochester, MN; New Haven, CT; Bloomington, IN; Kenner, LA; and Kingsport, TN.  This is the second AAU basketball championship Branson has been awarded since the opening of the Branson RecPlex in 2005.l's basketball tournament held at the RecPlex and at the Branson

"The Meltdown" Girls 7-12 grade Basketball Tournament
Bring your team to Branson for some summer hoops at the "Meltdown" July 5-7.  Go to www.meltdownhoops.com to find out about this exciting girl's basketball tournament held at the RecPlex and at the Branson High School.


USTA Branson Jr Open Tennis Tournament

This is the 17th straight year that the Branson Parks & Recreation Department will host this popular tournament.  This USTA sanctioned tournament draws youth from all over the region for this two-day event.  Scheduled for July 25-26, the tournament draw includes both singles and doubles events for boys and girls ages 10, 12, 14, 16, 18.   Call the Park’s Dept at (417)335-2368 to receive an entry form.

This nationally sponsored event by Pepsi and the NFL, and hosted locally by the Branson Parks & Recreation on September 9.  This skills challenge for boys and girls is designed to see how well they can punt, pass, and kick for distance and accuracy.  The winners are eligible to advance to a sectional competition and then a Team Championship at an NFL game.  Four team champions from across the nation will advance to the National Finals at an NFL Playoff game.  Birth certificate is required for age verification.  Call the Park's Department to register.
