It is the policy of the Branson Parks & Recreation Department that program participants help defray the direct costs related to an activity/program through the assessment of fees and charges. However, the department does not wish to exclude any child wishing to participate in any youth program regardless of financial ability. Persons who feel they are unable to afford the cost of a youth activity may contact the department about the Scholarship Program.
The program is available for area residents who meet income guidelines and is intended to assist those who could not otherwise pay for program fees. Scholarship amounts are limited and are not available for all programs. To receive a scholarship application and more information about the program guidelines, stop by the Branson RecPlex. Funding for this program is particially provided by Skaggs Foundation, whose mission is to support and lead initiatives that improve health and wellness.
