The Branson Parks & Recreation Department is located in the Branson RecPlex at 1500 Branson Hills Parkway. Please contact us with questions or inquiries about parks or program opportunities. The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for the oversight of 16 city parks totaling more than 300 acres, ranging from small neighborhood parks to large wilderness areas with hiking trails. The Department is headed by the Director of Parks & Recreation, Cindy Shook, and Assistant Director, Jason Reinsch, and consists of the following divisions:
Our staff coordinates recreation programs, sports leagues and special events for all ages throughout the city at various locations and facilities. For information regarding youth sports and leagues, contact Recreation Specialist, Brandon Stortz. Park & Recreation Facilities
Interested in using room space or having a birthday party at the Pool? There are plenty of places to have fun Branson. We oversee facilities such as the Branson RecPlex, the AquaPlex, the Picnic Pavilions. We even have a Dog Park for your four-legged friends. Contact Facility/Aquatic Manager Taylor Lee regarding these facilties. Or if your looking for an even larger place for a family reunion or wedding reception, you might check out the Branson Community Center. Our department oversees 16 parks in the City of Branson that offer a variety of recreation and leisure opportunities. Each park has different features to offer, including picnic pavilions, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, walking paths and trails. Jim Cartright serves as the Park Maintenance Supervisor in charge of maintenance for City Parks and the Branson RecPlex.
