The City of Branson Tree Board has chosen Shorty Small’s restaurant located at 2600 West Hwy 76 for the May 2019 Beautification Award, an award that recognizes owners of commercial properties in Branson who take pride in and showcase their landscape.
Shorty Small’s has been a local favorite as well as a traveler’s “must stop” in Branson for over 25 years. Shorty Small’s moved to its current location on the 76 Strip next to the Moon River Performing Arts Center in March of 2013. They have been the destination for individuals, families, ball teams, travel groups and large reunions over the years. Shorty Small’s is known for its ‘jumpin’ off the bone tender ribs, oven roasted chicken, chicken fried steak the size of a hub cap, hand breaded chicken tenders, cornmeal fried catfish and many other memorable and tempting dishes. They are passionate about good food and big fun and Shorty Small’s Great American restaurant.
Beautification Awards are presented on a monthly basis between May and October. The criteria for nominations are:
